1. Which Raised and Exalted the Conquering Christ. (20-21)
Paul prays that we might know the greatness of God’s power, which is in accordance with His great might – 20 “that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come.”
?- Having a relationship with the conquering Christ, is there anything that I think He can’t help me with?
?- Is there any entity (physical or spiritual) that I treat as if they have more power & authority than Jesus?
2. Which Elevates Those Who Follow Christ. (22-23)
2a. Christ has dominion over all things as the Last Adam.
22a And he put all things under his feet (see Psalm 8:3-6)
?- Am I living more like I’m related to the First Adam or the Last Adam?
2b. The CEO of the church is in charge of all of creation.
22b and gave him as head over all things to the church,
?- Do I value the church as the organization which belongs to Jesus personally?
2c. The church is the body of the most significant head.
23 which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.
?- As a part of Christ’s body, do I give Him full control like the way my head controls my hands?

• Have confidence in the completion of God’s saving work.
• Have confidence in God’s glory-shining inheritance.
• Have confidence in the power of God directed toward you.
?- What provision from God do I typically want to experience?
a. comfort, ease, and independence?
b. strong hope in Christ, anticipation of heaven, and awareness of God’s awesome power?
?- Can I rejoice in how suffering can help me be more interested in God’s better provision?
